While staying at Silver Beach Resort, Manitoba, Canada, take some time to visit the many other interesting places that Manitoba has to offer.

Angusville provides basic services such as a Credit Union, a cafe, post office, and a gas station. While here, visit the Angusville Heritage Hall and Museum. The community also has events such as the Angusville Poker Derby, Sports Day, Slow Pitch tournaments, and various other events.

Pizzey's Milling and Baking, who specialize in flax and flax bread products are located south of Angusville on hwy 476.

Inglis elevators are located at Inglis Manitoba. Here we have four grain elevators that have been standing since 1922.

Asessippi ski hill and winter park offers downhill skiing, snow boarding, and tubing. 

Lake of the Prairies, located north of Russell on hwy 83 and then west on hwy 482, is well known for it's fishing. Plan to attend the Prairie Classic catch and release tournament. 

Russell is a small town that has lots to offer the surrounding communities with it's many shopping centers, such as groceries stores, bakery, video store, Bait, Tackle & Fishing Supplies and Sporting Goods Store, etc. Located just east of Russell on Hwy 45 is a 9-hole golf course.

Rossburn is another small town along Hwy 45 that has plenty to offer the surrounding communities and has much to offer tourists, with it's museum, buddhas (small tent-shaped pole structures covered with straw), mass grave & monument, etc.

Riding Mountain National Park with it's scenic and groomed trails leading to many of the lakes for fishing and canoeing.
